Welcome to the CYMT Practicum Pathway

The CYMT Practicum Pathway is a series of 26 skill-building segments (called "milestones") that students complete with the help of their coaches during the first year of the CYMT graduate residency. Centered around essential and practical skills for youth ministry, the Practicum Pathway interfaces with and builds upon the theological training that students receive in the classroom. Each segment will engage students in:

(1) 5-to-15 pages of relevant, practical reading on the topic;
(2) the employment of templates and practical models;
(3) dialogue with a coach;
(4) a concrete final product that the student can employ in ministry; and,
(5) self-assessment and coach evaluation of performance.
